Create Boards, Items in monday.com on Google Form submission
How to integrate your Google Form with monday.com?
You can integrate Google Forms with monday.com using Form Director. Form Director enables you to connect Google Forms with monday.com, allowing you to create Boards, Items based on form responses.Â
When a user submits a Google Form, the responses are automatically sent to monday.com, where Boards, Items are created accordingly.
What is Form Director?
Form Director is a Google Workspace add-on that directs data submitted from Google Forms to applications like Google Docs, Forms, Sheets, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Email, Trello, Slack, QuickBooks etc.
Installation:
It is available in the Google workspace Marketplace.Â

monday.com is a project management tool that enables organizations to manage tasks, projects, and team work.Â
Google Forms to monday.com: Use Case(s)
> "Create Boards" in monday.com on Google Form Submission.

Form Director

Choose Service
Choose monday.com from the list of apps.
Name your service.
Choose the available services
Create Board
Create Item
Configuring monday.com
Click on Connect to authenticate with monday.com app.
How to get API token?
Login to monday.com.
Click on the profile.
Click on Administration.
Scroll down to API.
Click on Generate to generate API token.
Copy the API token.
Click on Regenerate to generate a new API token.
The following screen appears when monday.com is successfully connected.
Service 1: Create Board
Select Create Board.
Mapping
Click Setup Mapping and setup the mapping.
Mapping of form fields to that of app fields is to be done in order to create boards on form submission.
Click on the add icon to add new mapping
Once you have done mapping you can save the service
Note : Mapping should be done between app field and form field of same type.Â
Notification
Notify your audience with success or error notifications.
Switch on Send Email to send email during execution.
Email Template
Send your own customized emails on form submission to your audience.
Attachment
Click Pick Drive Files to attach files to Email.
Add attachments from previous service results.
Select the required service result.
Finish setting up
Save service
You are all set to create Board on your Google Form submission
Submit the Form
Submit the Google Form.
See the Projects created in Todoist
Service 2: Create Item
Mention the service name.
Select the application as "monday.com".
Select the service as "Create Item".
Authenticate with monday.com.
Select the required board.
